Used as a reducing agent in tanning. It is used in the paper and textile industries to remove residual bleach and as a mordant. Used in medicine as an antidote for cyanide poisoning, etc. In water treatment, it is used as a dechlorination agent and fungicide for drinking water and wastewater; Copper corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water; And deoxidizer for boiler water system.
