Sodium thisulfate is a common thiosulfate, a colorless transparent monoclinic crystal or white crystalline powder.Odorless, salty. The relative density is 1.667. Sodium thiosulfate is easily soluble in water and reacts with strong acid to produce sulfur and sulfur dioxide gas .Sodium thiosulfate is an antidote to cyanide.It is colorless, transparent crystal or crystalline fine grain.

Application

1.It is used chemical raw material used as a fixer in the
   photographic, film and printing industries.

2.Used as a reducing agent in tanning. It is used in the paper
   and textile industries to remove residual bleach and as a
   mordant.

3.Used in medicine as an antidote for cyanide poisoning, etc.

4.In water treatment:
   a) It is used as a dechlorination agent and fungicide for
       drinking water and wastewater;
   b) Copper corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water;
   c) Deoxidizer for boiler water system;
   d) It is also used for the treatment of cyanide-containing
       wastewater.
